Tensora started in 2021 when a small group of AI practitioners in Nonthaburi noticed something consistent: learners who genuinely wanted to understand machine learning were getting lost — not because the topic was beyond them, but because the material they found was either too abstract or assumed too much prior knowledge.
The founding team spent the better part of a year building a curriculum that did things a little differently. Instead of front-loading theory, the courses were structured so learners encounter a concept, apply it to a small task, and then revisit it with more depth. The feedback from early participants shaped most of what Tensora looks like today.
By 2023, the NLP project track and the advanced mentorship program had been added, filling gaps that the beginner course could not address on its own. The school has been operating fully online since the beginning, which means learners across Thailand — and beyond — have been able to join without relocating or restructuring their schedules.

To give people working in Thailand access to well-structured AI education — delivered in English, grounded in real projects, and supported by practitioners who have done the work themselves.

Lead Curriculum Designer
Kanya spent seven years developing NLP applications for Thai-language data processing before moving into education. She wrote the core modules for the beginner course and the NLP track.
Nattapong Thongchai
Mentorship Program Lead
Nattapong manages the advanced mentorship program and reviews the most complex student projects. His background is in applied machine learning for data-heavy business environments.
Siriporn Rattana
Learner Support & Community
Siriporn runs the community forum and coordinates learner onboarding. She is often the first point of contact for new students and keeps the support experience personal rather than automated.
How We Keep Quality Consistent
These are the commitments that shape how we build programs, review work, and handle learner data.
Data Privacy
Learner information is collected only for program delivery and communication. We do not share or sell personal data. Storage practices follow PDPA guidelines applicable in Thailand.
Curriculum Review Cycle
Program content is reviewed every six months by the curriculum team. Updates reflect changes in available tools, learner feedback patterns, and shifts in how AI topics are commonly approached.
Mentor Qualification
All mentors have a minimum of four years of applied experience in their respective AI disciplines and go through an internal review before taking on learner projects.
Feedback Turnaround
Project submissions receive written feedback within five business days. Mentorship sessions are scheduled within one week of request during active program periods.
Accessibility Commitment
Course materials are structured for screen readers and tested across common device types. Learners with specific access needs are encouraged to reach out for adjustments.
Honest Communication
We do not overstate what programs deliver. If a learner's goals fall outside what Tensora offers, we say so directly rather than letting someone enroll in something that will not serve them.
AI Education in Thailand: What We Think About
AI and machine learning skills are increasingly relevant across industries in Thailand — from logistics and retail to healthcare data and financial modeling. Yet accessible, structured education in this area has been limited, particularly for learners who want to develop technical understanding without giving up full-time work or relocating to attend classes in person.
Tensora was designed with this context in mind. The programs do not assume that learners have extensive prior experience with statistics or software engineering. Instead, they build understanding progressively, using worked examples and hands-on projects to establish concepts before introducing formal notation or code.
English is the medium of instruction across all Tensora programs. This is a deliberate choice: most active AI research, tooling documentation, and community discussion happens in English, and learners who can engage with primary sources are better placed to continue developing independently after they finish a program.
The school operates entirely online, which allows learners based anywhere in Thailand — or working from abroad — to participate without adjusting their location or daily schedule. All that is needed is a reliable internet connection and a willingness to set aside a few hours each week.
